Oxfordshire/Cotswolds roads
Discussion
Any particularly fine roads in the Cotswolds?
Off with the OH so thinking of the scenic route as much as a white knuckle blast, but I thought I'd scope a few places out for a return in the future. I'm staying right on the eastern tip of the Cotswolds near Deddington, but will probably venture more centrally into the area.

Hi Chris
I lived in a village just by Stow on the Wold for 8 years, (and lived in St. Thomas Street, Deddington for 6 years before that) and the only tip I can give you (if you want to enjoy your drive), is to do it at 05.00 on a Sunday. The rest of the time it's a mobile car park. (One of the main reasons I moved!)
Best tip... get the hell out of there!

You did take that to the extreme though. Hardly "up the road"

Yep, all rather crowded and dull. Had far more fun come back through the B-roads of Bucks and Beds actually.
That said, the road that runs to Hook Norton from the main(ish) road to Clifton was quite fun. Not the best visibility for hoonage though.
Next time Chris I will show you the real Cotswolds !! Empty B roads, picture card villages and no traffic but I am not gonna post the routes because I consider it my private test track That said, the road that runs to Hook Norton from the main(ish) road to Clifton was quite fun. Not the best visibility for hoonage though.
