Weekend run-in trip on the continent

Collect new Vantage next Thursday....

Running it in seemed like a good excuse for a stupid continental blast. Eurotunnel booked Friday night and early Monday am. Thinking of getting an hour or so into France on the Friday.

Where to go? Can I get to Monaco in time for dinner Saturday? Milan via alps? Will have gf with me but happy to cross big distances.

Looking forward to very dirty and nicely run-in and snagged motor.

Not sure if times have changed but I was always taught not to run in a new car on the motorway (where you will be sitting at a constant RPM), rather you should be working the engine through the entire rev range without using WOT. In which case that means getting off the autoroutes and going cross country, and that will seriously cut down your ability to get very far down South unless you spend the whole weekend in the car.
