Have to do a jaunt out today to collect a shiny new motor, but from Sevenoaks to Folkestone seems to be a long old schlap on the M20...

Will it be as dull as expected or do the continent-bound wagons provide some interesting slalom action?

Welcome any inside info on scamera setups along this way too...

Dull as ditchwater.

Speed control around the Maidstone area, so cruise control
comes in handy, then SE of there there is very little traffic
at all, so cruise again handy.

About the only fun to be had is counting the folks sitting
in lane 2 when lane 1 is empty.

Hopefully, there will be something reasonable on Radio 4
to relieve the tedium.

Keep an eye out for the unmarked light blue Volvo S80.
I met them to my cost last year.

Sheesh, you're not wrong... Uneventful generally speaking. Nice to stretch the legs of the Cerb but most of it isn't a great surface either. Hey ho.

Cheers!

You're not wrong, it is a very dull stretch of motorway.

I have to travel it regularly, a few times a week going from Folkestone to Ashford, then a couple of times a month it's whole length.

I've tried to figure out why it is so boring, (that's how bored I get!) perhaps it's because for most of it's length it has banks built up alongside it, so you can't see anything beyond them.

It's all too easy to just switch off and get tunnel vision!
