Wakefield to Hornsea

Will be travelling there Thursday this week, no restrictions on time, wondering if anyone can recommend a good (interesting) route to take. I hate going the same way twice, so normally go from Wakey on the A642 up to the A1, then A64, then A166 Brid road, then "scenic route" into brid from Fridaythorpe. Comin home I tend to go down coast from Hornsea towards Hull, on Hull ring road, and back down the A63/M62. Bored of this now though, as we go pretty much once a fortnight. If anyone has any suggestions of another route or variations, then I'd really appreciate it...

Incidentally, already tried the roads suggested in this thread, and they were awesome...

Bit late but I would have gone Wakey, Knottingley, snaith, Howden, Holme on spalding moore, beverly then Hornsea avoiding A1 and M62
