I used to have a GTi6, infact I had this GTi-6.

A PH2. It was lowered 30mm had a brand new splitter and rallye fogs, de-wipered rear, PH3 lights, Spoox carbon Mirror caps, Gloss black cyclones, Goodyear Eagle F1s, a custom 3" rolled out exhaust, an OMP 330 mm steering wheel and was polished within an inch of its life.
I loved that car, but the love affair had to come to an end and I had to let it go.
As soon as I sold it I regretted it and I've been hanging around the gti6.com forum for no good reason ever since (its certainly not for the company, most people on there are prize c*nts :lol )
Anyway, Me and the Mrs lived together, got married and I've put a baby in her belly :whistle we were down to just one car (a Passat estate for the dog, baby and wife) and decided we needed another car to get around.
Obviously, the sensible thing to do wwould be to get her 1.2 clio fixed. But, that wouldn't be fun now would it?
So, I sold her clio plus a few other bits and then took a bit too much money from my wages and treated myself to this:

V plate Diablo.
12 months MOT, 6 months tax, fresh cambelt, PH1 seats and some yellow bits ... erm yeah, about that ... yellow calipers, yellow tow eye and yellow fans, secretly I like it, but if anyone asks I'll blame the previous owner - incidentally they were both on the forum.
It needs a little bit of work. The exhaust is knocking so needs re-hanging, It needs tyres but I wanted to change to Goodyear Eagle F1s anyway, there's a wobble under braking. The cyclones need a refurb and there's some laquer peel on the front bumper, a tiny bit on the bonnet and the same again on one of the rubstrips and mirror cap.
There's always a plan with these things isn't there so here's mine ...
I fancy trying my hand at track days - cadwell isn't far. Elivington is about an hour away and Blyton drivers park has opened about 10mins from my house, so it would be rude not to. But, it will still be my main transport too and from work and will also need to be a fast road toy. So I'm thinking a few track/fast road upgrades will be in order. But I'm not sure what yet. Oh and I want to tart it up - some carbon wrapped parts will solve most of the laquer peel affected areas, I want a splitter (there isn't one on at all at the minute) and rallye blanks are always a winner. Plus I have a thing for dark wheels so might put some of them on.
Upgrades will be slow coming because of the forthcoming child but hopefully I'll have some cash left for some upgrades for this baby. But, finally, I'm back beheind the wheel of a GTi6 and it feels pretty good.

Lovely car mate, recently sold my Gti6! Was a diablo red one just like that. The gti6 forum is handy for information but i found most people on there had massive personality disorders! I recognise your area from the pictures, your name rings a bell too, you didn't used to have a tuned up Dturbo did you? Might be thinking of a completely different person but bells are ringing from my pug306.net day! Hope you're enjoying the '6!

I've been on the GTi6 forum for about 3 or 4 years, you get used to the personality disorders. I've never had a Dturbo so it's not me you're thinking of!I'm loving having another GTi6, so much more fun than the passat estate I've been driving around in!
