2003 MR2 Roadster

Hello!
I thought it about time to introduce my new car.
So, I had a budget in mind, had a look at a few, tried a few MX-5's, drove a few more MR2's, ummed and ahhed a bit, then this:
turned up at my local Toyota dealer the Monday after driving hundreds of miles checking out many cars!
It's done 33k, has the TTE roll hoop, exhausts, and a few spoilers! It's got black leather, FTSH, and a years warranty, got it for a pretty decent price IMHO too (over budget though, haha)!
So far I've fitted a new iPhone compatible stereo (selling the old one on eBay!), have ordered a front strut brace, will be buying some lowering springs to close the arch gap a touch, and then probably the breast plate mod!
I love it! I had an e30 318is prior to this which I played with a lot - LSD'd, chipped, polybushed, lowered (too much!), amongst other things but don't miss it as much as I thought I would - this keeps me smiling!
I'm off to Le Mans in it in a few weeks time with my 6ft5 co-pilot (I'm 6ft1) so that'll be fun..

as well as being an excellent drive it is also the better choice for the taller gent, i'm 6'4" and fit in ours quite comfortably, it is much more of a squeeze in an MX-5!

Superb cars, I had one for a while. The lowering springs you're thinking about getting make a massive difference, not only to the looks but I found the extra stiffness to really improve the car. Other than that all I did was fit a fruity exhaust, went for Hayward and Scott in the end.
I could go on and on, but get yourself signed up on MR2-ROC they're a great bunch, and read up on tyres and pre-cats! Other than that, enjoy!!

Cosmetic.Looks good, although you need to sort out your 'ears' when the top is folded down.
