MPI = Multi Point Injection

i.e. one per cylinder.

Never knew they did a fuel injected (let alone multi point, could fathom single point) A-series!

Well first it need new front and rear bumpers due to car park dings and a repair to one of the doors due to a ding

Different wheels for a start with nice sticky tyres.
Sport suspension.
New seats and steering wheel.
Some engine work at some point.
A colour change as well but not for a while.
Oh and a far few crome bits

My mate's got one of these on a P-reg, love the wheels but Christ his is a deathtrap, more rust than I thought possible. A slightly suspect MOT imo. Lovely car otherwise smile

Lovely looking car, but as my memory serves me (I could be wrong) but I don't think the A series ever came with true multipoint injection, I think it was actually twin point, having two injectors in the manifold instead of one for each cylinder.

As I said, I could be wrong.

Well it's only got 2 intake ports so it's as multipoint as it can be. biggrin

One inlet port, multiple injectors and some ECU voodoo!

If I'm not mistaken that's a 'Se7en' edition? Rare care and always fancied one. I have the original sales brochure for those in my stash.

Nice condition mini you've got there.

I had a very similar one. A '98 MPi on pepper-pots.

I wish I'd gone for a carb'd model though, due to lack of tuning options on the MPi. The DTM exhaust paid dividends to the soundtrack though.

Well went for my first proper drive up to Normanby Hall Mini Day a good 120 miles from home. Apart from the rain and a few other things a good day.
Plenty of lovely looking mini's definitely some good inspiration, but the wish list is getting longer and more expensive! Any how to the not so good news. It has started to jump out of 2nd gear, pretty sure it's the synchro. About an hour ago I went to put the Beast away, I rent a council garage next to the council flats and some very considerat person has parked the car in front of the garage door.
