My New (to me) Saab 9-3 Vector Sport

Greetings. I have been reading the news section and forums here for quite a few years, but haven't posted much, so I thought I'd start by posting up spme pics of my recently purchased 2005 Saab 9-3 Vector Sport 1.9TID (150).
I picked it up on Saturday. Was a bit of a quick purchase due to the new job suddenly turning round and saying I had to take the car allowance instead of the company car. It replaceed the fun car, which was a 1994 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8TD SWB on Mud Terrains and 2in body lift.
Saab has SatNav, leather seats and few other bits. I'm pretty happy with it and the engine is much better than my last company car (Golf TDI105 Sport).
Wanted a used 320D M-Sport Estate or saloon, but I was struggling to find one in my budget. However, I really like the looks of the 9-3 and its proved to be very comfortable and the the boot is huge.
Only downsides so far is the steering wheel is quite low and the brakes are a bit spongy, despite nearly new pads.
Future plans include replacing the tired number plates, stainless brake lines, standard sized brembo discs and pads, Aero wheels (all ready bought), Aero front and rear spoiler and a good clean.

Its done a leggy 122k
, but it was lease owned and has a full service history and a stack load of receipts including once for the clutch/flywheel replacement, which was one of the reasons why I chose this car over others with more favourable wheel/colour schemes.
It is also fitted with branded rubber, which in my book means that someone has cared about the maintenance. The rears are shod with no less than Goodyear Eagle F1s!!
We all know that the Saab is based on the Vectra and to be honest, I was being a bit of a snob and was expecting the handling to be a bit gash, but I have been pleasently surprised. It corners well for its size and there isn't much body roll at all. Grip appears to be good, but that could be down to the decent sized rubber that comes on the sport models. Steering is a bit vague round dead centre, but has a reasonably weighty feel to it.
One of the best bits is that engine though. Very smooth and lots of torque Friend of mine is coming round next weekend to do the cambelt and waterpump. It was done at 70k, which suggests that it needs doing again now. Don't want the thing to go bang on me!!
