I sold my beloved mk2 last week, (to a really decent young guy who promised to look after her!), and was feeling a bit lost until I found this on eBay!

Used my phone so not the best pics I'm afraid, lovely car though, almost 117k on the clocks but you wouldnt think that by looking at it/driving it, it pulls like a train and the V6 sounds awesome! I'll get some decent pics up after I've given the paintwork a bit of tlc, but for now I'm just really enjoying the noise!

Try a carbon intake an remove a silencer and they sound tremendous!!

Oh an if you didn't already know your car is a Highline model, a limited edition run which came with a few extras.

Lovely job! My Mum has one of these - Highline, about 70k miles, all original bar a s/s scorpion exhaust which sounds lovely! Shes getting rid of it soon too - I am very tempted. If you dont mind me asking, did you get it at a bargain price on eBay? Need to know what to haggle her down to... wink

It's already got a carbon induction kit which just makes the noise even more grin inducing! It came with the standard headlights and two standard grills, 12 months mot and 6 months tax all for £850!

Bit of both really, I've only got a 10 mile round trip for work everyday but I'm taking every opportunity I can to give her a blast at the moment! I've never really been into mk3s before, I've always been a mk2 man but I enjoy this one more everytime I drive it!

Good man!Waking up to a good hoon in the morning = win.

Going home after work and having a hoon = double win!

Looks like a good car. I have always loved the older exotic Golfs.
