10 year car history

1st car in 2001 - Ford ka 1.3. A beast. Unfortunately no pics. I know you lot will be gutted. Sorry.
2nd car in 2002 - Lupo Sport. 100 bhp monster. Good spec such as factory sat nav, climate control, sunroof etc. Good fun actually.
3rd car in 2004 - Audi S3. Spent 21 grand on this bad-boy at the time and was my pride and joy until I went up the back of someone. Cost over 5 grand to repair and lost all my NCB; not good at 21 yrs old. Never felt the same afterwards.
4th car - Seat Leon Cupra R. Bought brand new in 2005 with optional Recaros. Just did the jabbasport remap and Forge DV. Rolling road of 280bhp and 292lb/ft. Loved this car.
5th and 6th cars - Audi S3 (my second one) and Focus RS. Owned both at the same time around 2006. The Ford was one of the cars I had to own at one point - just to have one, but I regret doing so. Should not have sold the Leon in hindsight. Focus was standard upon purchase but became a compulsion at one point spending thousands on new brakes, black wheels, primary designs manifold (over a grand) full milltek, remap, dump valve etc etc. Chav-tastic. Ended up in the garage being repaired every week so bought the S3 in the interim owning both cars (S3 and FRS) and then moved the RS on and replaced it. Here is the FRS:
6th and 7th cars - around 2007 - Sold the RS and bought another RS to replace it; an RS6. The S3 had a remap, DV, Milltek and Brembo brake upgrade (I learnt from my experience with S3 # 1). The RS6 was costly to maintain. One service cost me over 3K from a specialists! It was quick and luxurious with in-car hard drive with DV/MP3 etc. It was remapped and after the DRC failed I had coilovers fitted. Pics:
This print-out was PRE-remap (492 lb/ft). It was a lot quicker post remap but never took it on the rolling road.
7th and 8th cars in around 2008' - sold the S3 and bought an Ibiza Cupra to go with the RS6. Don't ask why. Just fancied one and the RS6 and S3 were two mature cars. This one had Brembos, K04 Turbo, remap, Milltek etc. Very fast and fun, around 240 bhp but yellow?!
7th, 8th and 9th cars: Ibiza Cupra, RS6 and then added this to the garage in Sept 2008 - A Westfield with a Cosworth Turbo engine. Absolutely mental. Loved this car:
Car 10 - Then our baby boy was born shortly after in 2009. I ran the three cars for a while but bought a Skoda to replace the Ibiza. Time passed and within six months I had sold the RS6 and Westie. For a few months of fatherhood, I had just the one car, a Fabia VRS:
Sorry for lack of pics. This was from the advert. It was actually a cracking little car. Fun and frugal and fairly fast.
Needless to say, I couldn't last long without a decent performance car so I eventually bought this to join the family.
Car 11 - 911 Turbo bought Oct 2009. I still have this. What can I say? Love it!

Car 12 around 2010 - Sold the Fabia and replaced it with a WRX wagon which was far from standard. Can't find any pics as didn't own it long. Didn't like it. Sold it to buy the Clio as a daily runner:
Car 13 - 2011 currently my two cars. A Clio RS200 and the 911. Use the 911 for weekends and fun.
So what next? As soon as my son is old enough (2 a the mo) I want a track toy or kit. Will keep this thread updated as and when.

Not a bad collection in my first 10 years of driving. My best so far, for different reasons, have been the LCR, Westfield and 911 Turbo. I regret having the FRS and Scoob but more because I had issues with them.
In terms of S3 insurance at 21, I am 28 now so this was around 2004. It cost £1600ish.
Rightly observed, I have spent so much on cars over the years. Insurance for the S3 and FRS was over three grand combined. Coupled with repaid bills, it was steep. My old fella moans and argues that I should plough my money on property, but I work hard and I enjoy my cars.
Next plan is probably to keep both the Clio and 996 and go for a 997 Turbo. Either that or opt for something like an Atom. I keep looking at the reducing costs of Ferraris etc. but whether I could afford it or not, I just couldn't justify those running costs.
