What's a power boost valve? confused Is it like an electric supercharger?

Now you only need to have it resprayed in another color and remove the chavy rearlights. Then it will look very nice.

Respray it and remove and snap that spoiler in half so it can never be fitted to anything again.

Very tidy though, engine bay looks great.

My dream car, when I was in my mid teens, was a 1.6 SI.

I also was very fond of the Mk3 1.6S. Lovely.

You edited your post 2 minutes after i posted, so ehm.

Don't get me wrong, I really like mk3 Fiestas, due to nostalgic reasons. My dad owned a mk3 XR2 and mk3.5 SX (the mainland europe eqvivalent of the Si).

But that 'power boost valve' does sound a bit like those electric superchargers/fuel magnets etc.

Any pics of the interior smile I think it looks pretty good - have you got a pic with the standard spoiler? How rare are these now?

A "power boost valve" is just fancy name for a fuel pressure regulator.

Old skool cool, very nice. I had a laugh at some people saying respray it,i bet if it was a TVR or MX5 they would be drooling all over it ,its only because its a hot hatch the chav/ boy racer card gets played.

I wouldn't say respray it, I do love the fact the paint is 'where it was at' in the 90's. Just not my cuppa smile at least the paint is done to a very high standard by the looks of it, You should see some of the attempts I've seen around up here.
