A Rare one for You BMW Alpina E24 6 Series
Discussion
Just thought I'd upload some pictures of my recently restored 6 Series. Believed the only Highline B10 in the country. Full Alpina options - engine (to which I've added stainless manifolds and system and a good quality induction kit) manual gearbox (not dogleg) 17" wheels, suspension, steering wheel, gearknob and plaque. Oh and the plate is B10 SLX - Looks better with the small l though ;0)

Is that the 330bhp model? It's lovely whatever the power but I am keen to know about the spec
No the 330 bhp Alpina was the B7S and that was turbo'd, this is 260 bhp out the box and hopefully the exhaust and induction will be worth 5% or so it should be getting close to an M635 hopefully. And you can get wings but they are astronomically priced. Luckily the last owner had already had them done on this carpistonchris said:
That is stunning.
What is it like to drive.
Drives very well, ride firm but comfy, steering nicely weighted, engine very smooth, and revs so much better than the standard lump. Not devastatingly fast but picks up very well in the higher speed ranges. It drives like a fairly new old car if that makes sense, quite heavy to drive in comparison to newer cars remember its a mid 70's design, it would never keep up with a modern hot hatch on a challenging road but it has a real feel good factor about it when your in it, and there are so few good ones left. And its a car that always seems to get a positive reaction. What is it like to drive.
And I may go to Gaydon festival if it doesn't clash with a Renault Alpine event
