Snore - Vectra DTi Elite.
Discussion
Recently decided my A4 was going to cost a fortune to get through the annual mot test, well actually, Audi decided that when they decided to put the cost of an ABS pump at roughly the current value of the car, so all the plans for a bigger turbo, FMI ect went out of the window, as did the car. I sold it on at a fair price for its condition, and even threw in the recently bought decat pipe I'd not yet fitted.
Meanwhile, my better halfs grandad had decided to part company with his Vectra, so for a reasonable (and not much more than I sold the Audi for) price I decided to take it off him.
It's a 2004 model 2.2DTi Elite. Still not a massive fan but as far as cheap (and hopefully) reliable motoring goes, it seems like a bargin.
It has factory Sat-Nav, a 4 disc changer, dual zone climate with vents in the rear, plenty of 12v power points, heated leather, cruise ect. It's in need of a pretty good clean, inside and out but that can wait for now.
It's actually come at a pretty decent time, was looking at rentals for my trip to Monza for the F1 in September but now decided to take this, the saving means I can take a few extra days off, and drive back via the Nurburgring, and maybe a cheeky stop in Amsterdam.
This weekends plans are new rear pads, a good suspension check over (can swap from a mates SRi he is breaking if needs be) and also, to fit his SRi black headlamps, I think the chrome is too much on black. I may also have his rear centre brake light too, I think the clear would suit silver better than the red. Also considering the 3 spoke steering wheel. Never been a massive fan of 4-spokers!
Anyway, the few pictures I have so far:

Hi.
I like the Vectra as a cheap reliable transport. It is even better with all the toys that the Elite spec come with anyway.
I think the Vectra's look better in a dark colour so they compliment the chrome but I like yours and I think the changes you are hoping to make will make it look better. Enjoy the trips to Germany/Spa.
