My new track toy
Discussion
Been toying with the idea of a car just for trackdays for a while and convinced the wife it was a good idea.
Gave myself a budget of £1000 so wasn't thinking about anything too flash but then this came up.
No reserve, 03 plate with 50k on the clock. I wasn't expecting it to be that good when it turned up but I really wasn't bothered as it's only going to be getting pasty round a track but it's actually really good!
Poor pictures but it's only had a wash and no polish!

Can't believe you picked that up for £1k! Are you tempted to sell on for a tidy profit then reinvest?
Not really because I'd not be able to replace it with something as good for that brass!! I had won one on ebay a week earlier, with no reserve, for £1061 but he decided that he didnt want to sell it and told me it was impossible to get one for that price!Ive already had an offer of £300 for the interior, Ive got some nice Sparcos to go in and some plain door cards.
If it wouldnt totally p1ss the wife off Id almost be tempted to drive this daily instead of the ML.

Superb value, can't believe those are don't to a grand, huge bang for buck! Nice car fella, look forward to the mods you'll carry out!
I won't be doing many mods if it means spending money - I'll have my manhood removed. If I can sell the interior and the wheels which will pay for bucket, harness, new brakes and replacement wheels then we'll leave it at that for now.
Idealy it would be caged but I might have to ask Santa for that!
