My R34 and 172.
Discussion
Well i have been here for a while now and keep sticking one or two pictures up in different "show us your......" threads so i thought i would stick a couple together in one place.
Firstly my R34 GTR that i have owned for three years now, running a lowly 400hp but lots of fun and usable on both the road and track. To be honest its just how i want it, without going silly -i do have to talk myself out of wanting more power every other week though.

This was taken at the New Forrest, really like this shot for some reason.

Recent outing at Snetterton 300.

Secondly my Clio 172 Cup that replaced my old daily driver. This has taken a more track oriented route with upgrades to the suspension, brakes and R888's. Really good little track car and handles superbly in its current form while still being compliant enough for the road. Would love to go all out and strip and cage it, coilovers etc but it would lose its driveability on the road- and i need a run around!

One of them both together.

Hello ,
I think that your R34 looks great , I mean really really great! I don't like most Jap cars but I am slowly likeing them more and more..
I honestly thought it had more power 400bhp*. Pictures in the 'New Forest'/PH'ers shots are great!
Don't change a thing on it.
The Clio would be a decent daily aswell , I like how you kept both cars blue!
Two thumbs up from me!

* 400bhp is still loads by the way!

Wow, loving the GTR, not had a chance to experience one but still
Had a RS Clio 172 myself for a while, excellent bang for buck
I agree, the Clio is mental for what it is, so much fun in tight twisty corners. It wont lap a track as quick as the 34 but is a great laugh.Had a RS Clio 172 myself for a while, excellent bang for buck

Am planning on keeping it as it is for now, i may look to increase power to 600hp in the next couple of years as it wouldn't take much from where it is now. Would definately look to refresh the bottom end at the same time for reliability as well.
Good to hear your liking Jap cars more and more, they are all really good cars especially when you have a play with them.

Nice work! What callipers have you had fitted to the R34?
Those wheels really suit it too, great looking car!
They are Stop Tech's big brake kit, 355mm disks and 4 pots front and rear. Really good setup, nice and progressive on the road and violent on track when you want them to be. Those wheels really suit it too, great looking car!

Nice pair! I have a GT3 RS as my main toy and also have 172 Cup as my daily driver, great little motors!
Now i am jealous, GT3 RS mmmmmmmmmmm Its funny you say that, its the reason i looked into a 172 as a daily due to the number of people with awesome cars raving about them- i can see why now!

Lovely R34, I keep seeing a bayside blue one around south east london, might even be you?

I used to have a metallic black one which I really do miss now, I would have been thrilled if I got it to look anything like yours, it just looks 'right'. 600hp in the future will be great too!
