Toyota MR2 Mk1 AW11
Discussion
Been a while since I've had a car of my own whilst being back home from uni, but needed something small and cheap to get to work in for a while and always had a soft spot for the AW11 !
So here is my 1989 T-bar AW11. Drives brilliantly, not a rattle or squeak or leak ! The interior is immaculate standard black leather.
The arches have previously been repaired from the ever persisting tin-worm but I think I can do a better repair job than the previous owner. Overall its nice car for the age

Got a few small plans such as redo all the bushes and maybe fit new OEM dampers. Also gonna give a go a white vinyl-ing the Tbar so it is just like a normal removable hard top !
I used to own an SW20 MR2 (grown to dislike them now), but this seems much more involving car than that ever was !

Thanks for the comments guys !
It does drive better than my old Mk2, but the Mk2 is still a hell of alot of car for the money
I was 99% set on getting mk1 MX-5, purely down to running costs & the fact there's plenty of cheap parts but tbh the Toyota isn't to bad to run. I'l probably keep it until next year when I have enough dollar to safely run a 200sx or similar, but right now coilovers are on my mind
