Here are some pics of my new car - Absolutely love it!! It's a 2.2 NA not a tubby and is a delight to be behind the wheel of (and a world apart from my Audi S3 that I had before it!).
Took her for a trip up into the Brecon Beacons today and took the camera along too - hope you like them

Looks great - did you get the hard top as part of the deal? Well done if you did 
Get the wheel swapped out for some 16"/17" front/rear and the exhaust changed for something a bit noisier and look after the shield on the mesh over the pipes - quite unusual to see that still attached after all this time and it is a bugger to reattach if it comes off.
Still miss mine a bit to be truthful.
(and the NA is much better than the tubby

Yes. )I don't mind the wheel, although the exhaust will probably be on the 'to do' list. Just need to start saving those pennies again now though

I edited my post after you quoted You will notice a difference if you swap to 16" at the front, instead of the OEM 17" - it will match the Elise then. I think that someone in Vaux marketing decided to insist on 17" all for some strange reason.

Ha ha!! Yeah, I was a little surprised to see 17's all round. I thought they were 16's as standard. Definately need to get the exhaust looked at - is a little life-less at the minute (but still not enough of a downer to wipe the grin off my face as I am driving it You will notice a difference if you swap to 16" at the front, instead of the OEM 17" - it will match the Elise then. king st!) Design stage took 18 months to complete. L850 world engine for GM for use across three continents. At the time it was the highest value project that Lotus had ever done (£5.5m IIRC).
The blocks and heads were cast using the lost-foam technique which even now is pretty rare.
Really nice looking car! The missus and I are after a VX220 for a replacement to our modded Smart Roadster, think we are going for NA aswell, finding it hard to locate tubbys since we'd like to test drive both to be sure although most say the NA is the better performer.
Red looks great!
With the hard top, did you get a soft top roof with the car aswell so you can swap out at any time, since you can't just take the roof off mid drive? Is the hardtop abit more noiser than the softtop?

Thanks for your kind comments. There is a soft top with the car too - although that has not come out of it's bag yet so can't comment on the noise difference!!
The hard top is a great acquisition tho and a must in my opinion (especially if you live in Wales!!

Not sure if thats a standard exhaust or not, but if it is they are sooooo quiet, an after market one will add a lot more noise
You've brought it at the right time, must be said as it will be horrific through the winter, with possibly the worlds worst heater, although the hardtop on yours may improve it slightly..or reduce the amount of cold air entering rather!
