Mk6.5 Fiesta Zetec S
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Long time lurker but finally i have something worth showing i think.
Little about me. im 21 and an IT Consultant for a DMS software provider.
this is my 2nd car. previously owned my trusty 2002 fiat punto active sport 8v.
served me well for 3 years. never broke down once. id say after passing my test i learnt to drive in this car. not a fast car by any means but nippy for what it was.
time came for a change and i wanted something a little bit sporty, small and not too expensive on fuel or insurance.
a friend of mine bought a Zetec S and from then on i wanted one. so here she is

2008 and done 50k
FSH
Full leather
electric folding mirriors
ipod connector
auto H/L
auto wipers
auto H/L and wipers where a surprise. the dealer did not tell me.
had it a week now and everytime i drive it i have a grin on my face. so much diffrent to my punto. like a go kart.
got it at a very good price i belive aswell at just under 6k with years warrenty MOT and TAX all included in the price. the car is spotless aswell apart from a few stone chips on the bonnet.
what do you guys think?

No problem,Bit O/T but how did you go about getting into your job role, sorry to be nosey, but I'm looking into getting something along those lines, I'm 18 studying IT.
at 19 i was working as a meter reader for british gas and i hated it. applied for an apprenticship at an IT college called zenos.
its a 5 month intense course which consists of a full city and guilds apprenticeship, 2 microsoft qualifications and a compTIA A+ certification.
i got my head down and passed everything they offered me and part of the program is they will get you interviews.
very 1st job i went for i managed to bag after 2 very grilling interviews and am still working there now.
started as 1st line support taking the phone calls. 8 months down the line opportunity came up for a 2nd line position and after 2 more grilling interviews i got that and am hoping to progress more and more.
IT is a good place to be. opportunities are everywhere. good luck.

Well done, you sound dedicated to succeeding, I'm unsure as to whether to go uni or do an apprenticeship now.
it depends on what you want to do. we have a graduate scheme and an under grad scheme at my company and it does seem to get you moving up the ladder quicker.
but is a lot of hard work and paper work involved which is not something i like.
