very interesting mix, love the E30.

My friend had an S13 in that very colour, was surprisingly fast but became a money pit rather quickly.. Did yours have to have a new bottom end too?

Really like the 2002 racer, that looks awesome. Also, around what time and with which club were you racing the Hillman, wasn't the Classic Saloon Car Club around the mid 80s was it?

Yes, very rapid car, but the standard brakes were just poo...

Mine broke a piston ring on no 4 at 130k and coupled with the terminally rusty tailgate meant it got sold on for parts:..Other than that not too much went wrong in 3 years and 60k miles, but Nissan parts are eyewateringly expensive...

The 02 was quite special...had an Alex Elliot built Schnitzer spec engine producing 198 bhp on 50 DCO carbs and weighed 725 kg with me and half a tank of fuel...Less coilovers as well...could give an E30 M3 a good race!

The Hunter I raced from 1983 to 88 but wasn't so competetive against Golf gtis...I believe the series was run by the classic saloon club at some point.

Myself and the other 2 in the photo drove around Europe and as far as central Turkey in 1983 ....this photo was taken as we arrived home...
The car is adorned with stickers and magic marker legend of all the places visited...

Other than the windscreen wiped motor dying during a thunderstorm in Germany we had no issues with the car at all....
The following year one of my 2 travelling companions drove it to Croatia...unfortunately, though, the engine ran a main bearing necessitating a full engine rebuild in a campsite....
