after reading through a few of the ones on here, it got me thinking about my old cars. Will be interesting to see your thoughts.

First car.. 1.2 Merit Nova Saloon(no pics of it im afraid)

For some reason i was bitten by the Vauxhall bug so went for the next logical step. Enter the Corsa

I was into the "Maxpower" scene in a big way. Not to everyones tastes but i loved it back then

Which then turned into this. As was the done thing, try to change everything lol

For a short time i was driving a 1.8 Vectra and a Senator

So far, nothing very interesting.. All that was about to change, I got the chance to buy probably my most stupid car to date.. A friend of mine had build a 260bhp Corsa Turbo. He was selling cheap so i jumped at the chance. I owned this for a few years and (when it worked) i loved every moment of it

I then said goodbye to the Griffin badge and had a MR2-Tbar
again, no pics. So i stole one

Only owned that for a short time, i then sold it for profit. A rare occasion !

I suddenly went dull... verrrrry dull
bought a 1.8 SRi Vectra bus new in 2006

Another 3 years went bye and i was getting more and more bored of the bus. At first it was nice to have such a big car but the tiny engine did it no favours. It was a great daily commute car but there was no thrill or fun in it. So when i saw that Vauxhall were doing deals on the VXR8.. Well, i would have been daft to pass on it. For the price, this is (IMO) one of the best bang for buck cars out there. 420bhp for well under £30k. I bought it new with just 25miles on the clock.

I have now done 28,550 miles and i can honestly say i have loved each and every one of them.
Im aiming to keep this car for a few more years yet. It puts a smile on my face daily (yup i use it for my daily commute) and people comment on it all the time.

Thanks for reading.

See you at SS @ Porsche on Sunday 2nd Oct smile

I thought the title meant a lot of TVR's.

It was actually a nice suprise, I always have liked Vauxhalls and my family have owned quite alot of them.

The Corsa's are intresting but I love the VXR8. Is it standard?

Jesus, that Corsa... biglaugh

I saw the VXR8 at the London Motor Museum and it looked lovely. I have a real thing for VXR8s and Monaros at the moment.

Lovely motor! cloud9

I don't know how someone could stick so religiously to such an awful make of car!

Although I do have too say, you have made up for it 100 times over with the VXR8 smile

Yeah i guess i shouldnt have put that as a title. It wasnt meant to confuse, honestly i didnt make the link between Luton's finest and TVRs. sorry guys

Yeah i think this is my last Vaux. Next car is either going to be a Maserati GT or Merc C63. but that wont be for a couple of years yet

Random question this and I doubt I'm correct but did you buy the white Corsa already modified from someone called Sam?

Everyone needs to run a V8 as a daily driver at least once in their life. Makes you appreciate the simple things in life.

Steve, I'm fairly certain I saw this driving through Hayes last week? It was by the Railway Station / Bridge right by the London Motor Museum.

Can't be that many Black and Green ones about can there? hehe

It looked and sounded lovely. smile
