My new company car turned up today. Over the moon with it.

Colour is Alien Green, optional Recaro seats and Cup Chassis.

30mpg if I lighten up my foot......

Apologies for the crappy pics, I was excited and just wanted to drive it.

No Xenons unfortunately. This one was already built so it was grabbed quickly.

And yes, It's a 2.0 Renaultsport 200. Need to run it in but should be a whole load of fun.

Don't like the black on the front, but the wheels look like they've already been swapped for after market ones, which is a bonus!

I'm a Renault salesman (for my sins) so this will he my car but also used for test drives on odd occasions

The Xenons were not available on the 200's, which I thought a Renault salesman may have known?

Anyway, nice car. AG needs to be seen in the flesh to really be appreciated!

30MPG must require a very, very light right foot.

You are of course correct, you cannot have Xenons on a 200. I still get spec confused with 197's sometimes.

We have a chap who had a 197 with Xenons, cup chassis and pano sunroof and was a bit upset he couldn't have the same combination on a 200!

It certainly annoyed a few 197 owners. Apparently due to not enough people speccing them on the 197, so took it upon themselves to completely scrap them from the 200?!

I liked my 200, but couldn't live with the very poor MPG it provided.

Have you had the new Raider 200 come into the showroom yet?

I don't think we will have a Raider, we're not a Renaultsport Specialist so don't think we'll see one.

The R26 is the best Renaultsport I've owned by a long chaulk, mate. I'm getting better MPG, it's better on the motorway, and the engine + handling and outright capability is amazing.

It would take a very special NA Clio for me to go back.

How come you didn't spec the Speedlines on the 200, buddy?

Certainly will. It's worth every hundreds of litres of V-Power I will no doubt be using!!

Next car after this will probably be a liquid yellow Twingo RS when the facelift comes out next year.
