So decided to buy a Rover Mini.. Hmmmm
Got her off ebay (first car purchase without actually seeing the car) however I had built a good rapport with the seller and decided to go for it.
Put a silly bid in, and it got accepted! So for the price of a large 3D TV, I got a 1995 Mini Sprite, 70k on the clock, 5 months MOT, full service history, mechanically perfect, minimal rust and in one of the best late mini colours. Also on a set of minilite alloys...
Plans are to upgrade things as they break along with a set of 4 POTS upfront...
Took this pic at a local industrial estate as it was getting dark this evening

Quick update. 500 miles done and no issues apart from a dodgy bonnet catch.
Have added clear front and side indicator lenses, bonnet strap and colour coded the number plate illumination unit on the boot and wing mirrors.
Hoping over christmas to add a playmini stainless exhaust and 1.5 degree negative camber arms and brackets.
