A few pics of my new daily hack.

She's a real pleasure to drive, the DSG is great and the petrol consumption isn't bad either!

Nice one, looks great. I found the headroom too tight (6'5"), so got a Fabia VRs instead smile Need to start a thread about it...

Cheers!

Im pretty average height,so don't have issues with that.

The boot is tiny though, but luckily I don't normally have to carry too much to work and back.

Nice car, shame they didn't offer these of the Fabia with a manual gearbox frown

Lovely little car.

Keep an eye on the oil consumption though. You need to make sure you give it some stick in Sport or manual. Don't think you're doing the engine any favours by tootling around in "D".

That was my mistake and resulted in shocking oil consumption and a new engine at 5,000 miles.

I've still only seen a couple of others on the road.

Enjoy.

Nice!

Might just be the pics, but it looks like it rides quite high?

Lowered a smidge with some BBS CH's, it'd look evil

I posted yesterday in the oil consumption thread...the oil warning came on after 2300 miles, and I topped her up day before yesterday, took about 750ml all in...

Reast easy about the pootling issue, she has no easy life with me I assure you laugh , and luckily too, its a company vehicle.

Would love a re-map and a few other bits, but I dont think the company will see it my way somehow rolleyes

Just looked it up - 177bhp and 1195 kgs.

Not bad. Very impressive fuel consumption as well - 47mpg!

missus gets a real world 42 out of hers, impressive stuff, it stage 1's to 220bhp, although imo it needs a LSD more than extra grunt

A supermini should still not weigh that much though. Modern cars are ridiculous.

It is less than the previous gen one though (according to the interwebs).

Probably the best looking Polo GTI to date. I'm seriously considering the Polo R in a couple of years, pending it comes out and has a manual gearbox ;-)

No chance, she will have to have an A1S1 or whatever they call it in the end.
