Well thats phase one of the 'restoration' complete. Pretty much a full respray, a blow out in the manifold resolved, door locks fixed, new bonnet badge, clear side lenses and a full valet.
Phase 2 is next week - new hood being fitted, 16 inch Lenso Alloy wheels (or current ones refurbished if the Lensos sell in the meantime), front lenses out and steam cleaned, new rear number plate, new rear badging.

Well, thats this weeks work complete. Lenso 16 inch alloy wheels - i had them in the garage anyway, new hood fitted, number plate surround on front, and new lower grille.
Took the steering wheel cover off. Didnt like the 'raw' look, so put it back on.

Looking good! im toiling whether to buy one of these or a supra, makes more sense to get the eunos and save on insurance. Ive never driven one of these how is it?
Its genuinely a great little car. I really fell for it when i saw it first because it was obvious it hadnt been cared for yet there was no rot and it drove like a treat.Mines just the 1600 but it has enough power to buzz about in.
I keep it garaged and i only ever take it out in the dry and always with the hood down.
Far nicer car than my mk2.5 mx5 from last year.
