This car seems to be a real marmite car but I saw it online and just had to buy it biggrin

Its a 1991 Camaro z28 with the 5.7 L TPI. It makes a rather nice noise! Quite a contrast to my Elise that you can see in the background. The 3 hour drive back with it yesterday was fun and no issues which is great news as that was more miles than its done in the whole of last year. Mostly took it easy, did boot it once from stationary when nearly home, the back end went all over the place!!

Pic below, not very good as its rainy and miserable today.

I will put a better pic up when the weather pics up.

I have a soft spot for these after getting a fast passenger run in one way back in 1991 while on holiday in the good ole USA. I wasn't too old at the time but I remember it well.

Enjoy!

Somehow, I always thought of these as ugly and good-looking at the same time. Love it!

Hmm, lovely. I do like these, and you can't beat the noise of a big V8!

£4850

The guy wasnt overly desperate to sell it and I travelled a long way there smile I know I should have haggled harder but I hate haggling and had the cash sitting there. I do think over time if I look after it (which I will) it will hold its value or maybe even appreciate long term. I've bought the car to enjoy though so I dont mind either way.

I will take some of the interior tomorrow when its light. Its been replaced with the seats of a newer car.

Just took the mrs for a drive in it first time. When we got back she said her face hurt from grinning biggrin its so crude I love it. It so funny to have the tail just go mental when you plant your foot and such a funny contrast to the Elise.

Is it a manual?

You can get good power out of the tpi for not alot of money. They like nitrous also.

It's an auto. What tips do you have for giving it more power. It already breaks traction on kickdown even with the standard 245 bhp at the wheels
