Hi new to all this so bear with me, after a poor start to my driving career (1.0 106 and a sheddy megane) I bought my dream car. Its a 1996 Rover Mini Cooper 1.3 SPI. It has a full rollcage, centre DTM exhaust, K+N and just fitted a set of JBW rally specials. Big plans for this tiny car.

Let me know what yout think!

looks like a tidy one, nice to see some different alloys as well that arent minilites.

make sure you have plenty padding on the cage on the bits you could tt your head on, easy to do on a nice bumpy road!

any other plans for it? ive never had any of the injection mini's, mine have all been carbs.

Looks very nice mate, especially the wheels, its probably the only car as well that can get away with aftermarket rear lights.

Your first job is to stop the rot.

Looks nice though.

Good stuff, like Flipatron said you're priority needs to be sorting out and treating the rust.

It may just be the photos but it looks like your wing around the light is going along with your boot lid.

Don't be put off though, it looks like a nice base to work with!.

Keep us updated thumbup.

Looks really good. I like the wheels too (mind you I convinced my brother to fit them to he's 99 Downton Sport 40 a couple of years ago) As has been said get the rist sorted as soon as you can unfortantly the later classics all suffer badly with it.

But mopst of all enjoy it
