If I had a garage, I'd have one of these like a shot.

Great looking car and I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Thanks, will keep the thread updated as I go, but progress is likely to be slow initaly. I have managed to pull the spark plugs and get the engine turning over by hand and all seems good and smooth but it won't turn on the starter, not even getting a click with a new battery, I will try and do some investigation and see what the issue is and I'm hopeing it's just a starter relay but time will tell, hope to get her fired up this weekend. biggrin

I'll wager the solenoid is seized smile A light tap with a hammer usually does the trick if they are clicking, though this one sounds far gone. It's worth a go.

I have my stick of gentle persuasion at the ready but. not sure it will work as not even getting a click, fingers crossed though...
