The new barge, total bargain, excuse the dustbin like exhausts (However it's a very nice system) it's had the later 4.2 supercharged dropped in, bought new from Jaguar with over 15K in receipts over 24 months. Love driving this thing about sounds like thunder, goes like a train, stops like an old metro wink

First job is a brake upgrade, previous owner took off the good stuff. It's been de-chromed which I like, not sure on black corners though. Engine has sat in car for only 1 year and only covered 8k. Due a proper clean really, only painted a year ago + had new drivers seat. Cars covered 105k but you wouldn't know it, wheels just been refurbished also

Thanks for looking, ill post the rest of the fleet up soon

Black corner pieces need body colour. Aside from that, that's very very cool.

So by 'later supercharged' do you mean a couple of years later or later as in current?

Presuming the first option, but I'm not too clued up on these old Jag's!

Basically the 4.2 supercharged engine was only found in the XKR (And S-type R I believe) You can't get an XJR X308 with the 4.2 but only a 4.0. Power difference was only 25bhp

That's lovely cool

I really like the interior colour combination with the dark wood.

I agree that the black corners don't really suit it. They need to be body colour IMHO.

Any idea who did the engine conversion and what was involved in it? I would have thought dropping in the 4.2 would have been a lot of work with electrics etc.

It also looks as though the bonnet insulation is missing - or did you have to lose it in order to get the 4.2 engine to fit scratchchin

LOVE IT!! cloud9 But I *do* like a bit of chrome ... so I'd change the black for chrome!

But please stop posting pictures up of hot Jags on here frown, I WANT one and am currently sat here thinking of blowing my TR6 budget on a big Jaguar saloon with a silly engine ... *must not do* *must not do*
