Not posted on here in ages, so here's my new car!

2006 Ford Fiesta Zetec S, 1.6 16v petrol. Great little car thats good fun to drive. Handles very well, and it's a fairly quick little car (as far as fiestas go!) I'm very happy with it anyway ...

Will get some better photos at some point, just got to find a nice location first! But these will do for now..

Very smart! Really like these, Sea grey is the best colour on the Zetec S in my opinion. Got any plans for it?

Fair enough, i've only just noticed the side mouldings not matching the bodywork, would be the first job on my list i think smile

Yeah I'd like to get them painted/removed but to be honest they don't stand out too much to really bother me .. I see a red mk6 ZS and the black/grey side strips looks really odd on that .. At least my car is a dark colour so you can't see them quite as bad!

Not got too much cash to spend on it right now so will save up and get a few subtle bits done as I go along. I'd love to get a full miltek system, coilovers etc but I'm happy with it as it is.

Looks smart.

A mate has one of these but the celebration edition with the gloss black parts on the bodywork and checked roof. I like they look nice

Hmm, nice idea! Your ST looks great, what bulbs etc did you use to do-tango your lights?

Also, what splitter is that on your ST, not standard is it? Looks good smile

Heres another ST, with a splitter.

This one is from TripleRComposites, they can be found on Facebook, i got the splitter and "rs style" bonnet lip for £95! I'm chuffed with the quality 6months on smile Very smart upgrade on a mk6 Fez, + 1 on detango and black plastic grills another nice small touch.

How easy is it to de-tango the lights then?

On my MK5 to de-tango you take the headlamp out then use a hairdryer to sort of melt the glue around the edge of the light and carefully pull the glass of the front of the unit and then remove the orange cover for the indicator. After that just warm glue up again around edge and then push the glass front back on before fitting a new silverlight bulb dont know if it is different on the mk6 but imagine its the same idea.

My splitter is a focus Rs splitter which has had the ends to cut down so it fits the bumper, can be bought for about 45-50 quid on ebay. Ive got a guide on the de-tango but on my phone would take ages to type up will put it on another time.

Cheers, i'd love to get a Milltek system for it but dont have the spare cash. Plus i've had a car in the past that i've spent quite a bit of money on and doubt that the mrs would allow it again lol...

But i'm happy with it as it is. Would like to get a panel filter for it and modify the airbox like i've heard a few people do.. Will mainly be for noise though if i'm honest!

The K&N is the way to go for a nice noise but insurance takes a hike!

That's another reason why I will more than likely be keeping it standard! But we'll see ..
