Nice, ITB's sounds great on any engine.

Clean build. Quite keen on getting one of these myself for a bit of track use but I doubt it'll be anywhere near as tidy as yours.

no actually, it was made just for fun by a group of engineers, the bulid quality still amazes me now

Nice car, tempted to run in 750MC Stockhatch or similar? I prefer circuit racing as trackdays annoy me in the extreme, being impeded by slower drivers in faster cars...

Maybe next year, what are the restrictions of stockhatch?

Nice car - Get your belts fitted properly. If you are unfortunate to have an off the way the belts are fastened will do you more harm than good. Think double dislocated shoulders painfull. Harnessses over the shoulders should be fixed to a horizontal (preferably a roll bar cross brace) in line with the upper seat pass through hole or at a very shallow downward angle (not greater than 30 degrees).

Read the rest of thread - If you do decide to go stock hatch - it won't be passed fit by an RACMSA scrutineer.

Not aware of all of the technical details but I don't think you're allowed ITBs. The racing is awesome though, loads of close stuff

The racing is awesome, brands was a good meet. "stock hatch" there is a clue in the name. Most cars run gas gold shocks and springs, welded cage, engine cut off switch and a Decat exhaust, I think any engine mods like you ITBs out of the question though. The VTR's Run around 115bhp.

Nice ride.

We have a Saxo VTS at work that we use as a spare pool car. Gets used to drop customers off, ferry around internal post etc It probably laps our corner of Northants as swiftly as your Saxo laps Brands

Hi mate, yes i bought it just like this! are you doing one yourself? I'll tell you that it has had over £7000 spent on it to get it to this standard excluding labour and some parts as most of the work especially the engine was completed by the previous owners themselves, i have reciepts up to this!!!
It may be up for sale soon so I would rather not say, thanks!

Thanks for the advice, the belts are now properly mounted to a rear crossbar
just a quick rough spec of the car now-
fully rebuilt engine including spoox 106 rallye cylinder head, spoox motorsport camshaft, piper pullys, fuel p.r., spoox alloy rad, r6 carbs, fully stainless exh. and straight pipe, full race koni shocks, polybushed, full perspex, fully lightened-795 kg wet, full roll cage, toyos, crossdrilled discs, greenstuff pads, short shift kit, race fuel pump, alloy foam filled tank, fully aligned, lightweight race flywheel, uprated clutch, race dash
