I had been changing my mind about what car I wanted to replace my thoroughly excellent Alfa 147, had gone from Mk1 MX5's to BMW Z4's, and finally settled on an S2000. I had planned on holding off from buying, then this one popped up ebay a few weeks ago. Just hit 72k, very well looked after and completely standard. Picked up this morning from Leicestershire and drove sensibly back up the M1.

Anyway some pictures

The best thing ever to appear on a car after pop up lights

No plans for it so far, other than a service and alloy refurb.

Bloody brilliant, only had a little bit of a play on the way home, but as with other fast honda's, once you get over 6k revs it flies. Not had a chance to have a proper drive in it as both on the test drive and today its been raining/damp so have been careful.

Oh and the noise cloud9

Great car and a wise choice. Enjoy it and make sure you keep it as close to 9000 rpm as poss.

Servicing ontime and correctly is a must

Or if you dont like the annoying ridiculous boomy sound then just block the hole in the back corner of the airbox.

I personally think it sounds crap with the lid removed, just loud with no tone. At standard it is a little subdued though, blocking the hole (I stuck a piece of plastic over it) gives it a more fruity sound without it sounding like a saxo.

Have a play about and see what you like.

Am I right in thinking you live relatively close to Kirkstall Road in Leeds, OP? My missus really fancies an S2000 next, any chance she could have a look around the car and maybe a quick pax ride at some point? Not much of an exchange but would be delighted to take you out in the Exige to say thanks.

I really like these. Relatively new to the S2000 - always forget about them when classified hunting!

Dare i ask how much you paid for it?
