New on here (been lurking for a while) and figure i may as well introduce myself.

I race a Toyota AE86 in an Australian club racing series:

Runs a 1600cc 4AG, pushing ~140rwkw.

Its been in the wars over the years, and only now really starting to get it reliable.
Everything from a massive engine fire, to the aluminium flywheel going soft and tearing itself apart, and even snapping cams into 5 pieces.

But all in all i still like the old girl, and she has been a lot of fun. Not much left is original AE86 though.

Before this I had a '65 Mini Cooper with a 1275 and a SC12 supercharger when i was living in Bristol. Was a good fun little car, got to run it at Brands and Donnington when i was living over there at the time (2001)

Currently the AE86 is off the track for the next little while. Needs new fuel lines made up, as well as a new ECU and an overhaul of a few little bits and pieces. All of which will have to wait until we get back from the UK and Europe after Jubilee/FoS/Silverstone.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not a huge fan of drifting, and especially a lot of the culture that comes with it.

Im a bit for objective comparisons too, generally the ones which come with stopwatches smile
