Hi everyone just joined up to this site as i have often looked on the forum but never bothered registering,so thought i would give this forum a go as there seems to be a lot of like minded petrol heads on here.
I drive a 2001 jaguar xjr r1.
It has the optional 3 piece bbs split rims, cats suspension and the bigger brakes over a standard xjr.
Hope u like the pics.
Many thanks jay.

Hopefully in the near future upgrade the charger and cooler and release some more power.
But for now loving how it goes.

Very nice, lots of these cropping up on here at the moment.

Are those brakes an option then?

Yes,the brakes, suspension and wheels were an option.
I was originally looking at m5 on a w plate, but they mostly were abused modified examples, stumbled across this and decided to go for it.
Never drove one before and flew from edinburgh to gatwick to get it.
Cracking drive back home, got to say has to be one of the best performance car bargains there is just now.

Stunning machine that! Enjoy deeply. I miss mine as much as I thought I would, it had those beefy 7 spoke Minilite style wheels on which really got people gawping, and that demonic 'charger whine always spelt doom for the feeble traffic ahead. Ooh, got all Toad of Toad Hall then.

Tried to get this spec for ages, normally u get a nice exterior colour but horrible interior,so probably the best combo of exterior and interior.
Just cruises along in drive, switch to sport and it's a whole different car, kicks down a treat.
I see a few xj,s on the road now and again but not in this spec,so I think it's quite rare Iike this.

Lovely. Definitely strong competition against an E38 7 Series. What's the economy like in these? Mid teens I suspect.

Cheers everyone, certainly could be a keeper this one.
Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it,something that hasn't happened with my previous cars.
Even my wife likes it and that's half the battle.
