Thought I may as well put a thread up, even though the majority of people don't seem to like the little Corsas!

To make it worse, this is my 2nd one! I started off with a 1.2 after passing my test, I was very happy with this until whilst looking on the Corsa forum a 1.8 appeared for sale with 15k on the clock. Thinking this was too good to miss, I went off in the morning to go and have a look with my dad and it was just as described in the advert, so I drained my bank account and later on in the day went to pick it up.

Here is a pic of them both when I got home:

Then my dad bought his latest toy so of we went to Top555 to collect it.

Since having it I haven't really done much apart form keep it clean, change the exhaust and put a new steering wheel on.

Here are some pics:

It may not be the usual car on Pistonheads, but I'm only 19 and insurance when I renewed was £780 so I'll keep it until I can afford to insure something a bit quicker and more interesting!

Looks smart. Good spec too with heated seats?

Like the steering wheel, looks comfy to hold. Irmscher stuff is nice.

Looks very smart. Always had a soft spot for Vauxhalls. Enjoy!

I would be happy to drive that at 19.

Nice looking corsa and a good choice!

I was looking at these when I was 18/19 but ended up going for the same engine in a mk4 Astra with the pro drive kit, loved that car!!

Thanks for the kind comments, and don't worry, I certainly won't be ruining it with some horrible body kit! Spaceship, sadly the seats aren't heated...yet! But I'm thinking abut doing it or getting a set of full leather, so bought the switches off eBay as they were going cheap. The Irmscher wheel I had to buy from Germany as you can only get the silver version here and I wanted blue to match the car.

I'll set up another thread soon for the 430, may be a while as I'll need to take some pictures of it as surprisingly with this recent weather it hasn't been out much, and at the moment I don't have any pictures on my computer.

That's a nice and tidy corsa you've got yourself there.

Great car your dad has as well, has he let you have a blast in it or is it strictly out of bounds for you???

Sadly I've only been allowed to move it round on the drive, no taking it for a spin yet!

Indeed, I'm not quite sure why the insurance is so good on them, but I'm not complaining!

These have a bad rep, but Im quite a fan tbh.

I used to have a 1.2 SXI, did 40000 miles in it and thought it was fantastic.
