Hi Guys,

My name is Rob, im 22 and based in Hampshire. For nearly 2 years I have owned a Nissan S14a 200sx, which I P/X'd for my E46 330ci Sport / lump of slowness. Here are a few of the cars I have owned (1 partly owned / lived in for charity holiday):

This 200 came with the SR20det running a T28R from the later S15, with exhaust mods, FMIC and most importantly a 4:3 diff which gave rapid acceleration which worked well for me. Apart from that, it was the usual other modifications (wheels, coilovers etc) It looked like this:

And went like this (second outing in the car):

I also have my Pro class BDC license. So, winter 2010 I got the car up to competition spec with cage, cut offs etc and I competed in a couple of rounds last year.

I had a few gearbox issues, engine issues and money issues (dont we all) so decided to break and sell all the parts from the engine. I was half way through breaking the whole car until for a price i could not turn down came along a low mileage BMW 4L M60 V8.

I then got to work, taking out the old engine ready for it to be shipped to its new owner.

Got it to the workshop and test fitted this:

Robin @ RAW motorsport got to work, this build was done in spare time over about 9 months - These guys can do anything and I am over the moon with the end result!

Ended up looking like this (with some help from new Sponsor VarrStoen Wheels providing me with the Awesome track200's):

Spec List:

Running Gear:

- M60 4L V8 w/ custom manifolds into X piece, 2 small silencers in to quad 3" straight pipes.
- 6 Speed E39 M5 Gearbox
- Custom made prop
- 3:7 S14 LSD welded.
- Mocol oil cooler
- Re-located oil filter
- re-located air filter to front bumper
- 540i Radiator with custom twin Ford Mondeo fans (epic fans for £0) - tested against £150++ fans and flow better wink

Handling / geo:

- Dayima Fully adjustable Coilovers
- Japspeed front tension rods
- Japspeed Hard tie rods / ends
- Japspeed rear camber arms
- Japspeed solid subframe mounts
- R33 steering rack
- custom RAWmotorsport power steering sensitivity
- Driftworks offset rack spacers
- Driftworks modified hub knuckles
- Full weld in RAWmotorsport cage
- VarrStoen Track 200 in Hyper Black (18x9.5J et12)
- Toyo T1-S tyres.

Also got an ACEWELL digi-dash which will be fitted in due course!

So there we have it. I will be competeing in a one or two rounds of the BDC this year, will be doing a lot of demo's etc all around the country and Europe! Come say hi!

Anyway, just off for a drive.. I did mention it was road legal?? wink

Thanks for reading,

Rob.

BONNET! yes, that is 100% going. I have a new one which is standard and is shortly to be painted.

That looks like great fun, always fancied a shot at drifting. But moneys always been an issue for me so cant really afford to have a 2nd car for it, although i will do it one day. Always loved S chassis as well, really fancy an S15 as my next car.

good luck with the BDC, pity it wasn't at knockhill, would have been good to take a look around it.

love it! bought a cheap bmw once and did a drift day at pembrey, really enjoyed it.

youve done some serious work there in terms of the engine, bet it goes well.

the video of your dwyb is awesome too, i love the hand controls of drifting, the feel you need for the car as its on edge.

i went to awesomefest last year too, did u manage to get to that? that was some serious ballsy drifting, the night time stuff was amazing!

do you know gordon? hes in the BDC, drives a camo green skyline, think theres a couple of them from here in wales! hes a good bloke too from the odd occasion ive met him

keep up the good work, and if i see you at an event, i expect a passenger ride! thumbup

Awesome , been on a Tunnel run with the E30 that I think Raw built. Think Phil was driving.

Workmanship was fantastic on the face of things.

Thanks for all the kind words people!

I wont be at Teeside, I haven't done any comps so far this year as the car has taken a long time to do! will be at round 4 of the BDC which is Lydden hill in Kent!

To the chap who mentioned phil with the e30 touring V8 - I do know him... Very well, he's my best mate! And the sod that convinced me a v8 swap was a good idea!

Hopefully going goodwood on Friday, so say hi if you see me (look for the horrendously fked carbon bonnet wink
