Just purchased my 1st "proper" car after owning a couple of small hatchbacks. It's the 1st time a car ive owned has put a smile on my face. I'm surprised how often it turns heads for a car that isnt that expensive, you dont see too many 159s on the road which could be the reason or because I'm 21 and people are surprised to see a young person in something other than a Corsa with Halfords alloys.
Its a 2.2 JTS Lusso btw, none of this diesel rubbish

I think I saw this in the Alfa forum pics thread! Cracking car to own at 21, I was driving my 1.8 MK 2 Mondeo then!

You've outdone me on spec level to, my 159 is only Turismo, really kick myself now I didn't search out for Lusso!

I've had a few problems with mine (diesel jtdm) which have been a little costly but its fantastic driving knowing your in something unique and uncommon biggrin

Yeh the Lusso just has more stuff to go wrong haha. Its a 2006 model so its not new but its only done 33k. Was joking about diesel btw i was looking for a 2.4 JTDM but couldn't find 1 at the right price.

I can't recall the differences thought its was mainly the leather trim and seats which are heated? Mine is a 2006 model to smile

I've just hit 99600 miles and I brought it May last year with 66k lol

Yeh leather but hasnt got heated seats frown Mine also has a squeak when it goes over large bumps, maybe that comes with the Lusso as well?

Thats the undertray grounding out on speedbumps, got to go very slowly over them often in first or second gear or avoid them all together which is what I opt for frown

I am the vision of jealousy. Lovely car, and most definitely not something that your typical 21 year old drives. I myself have been looking at upgrading to A 159, unfortunately Mr Insurance says a big fat no as of yet, what with only being 19.
Perhaps as a combined 21st birthday and graduation present to myself next august.
I'll be keeping this thread in mind to see how the car stacks up long term.

That's what I'm waiting for, that little extra drop to make the insurance justifiable if anything.
Again, beautiful car.
