e36 328i touring/ work van
Discussion
Soo a bored day at home and sorting through things i thought id post some pictures of my latest purchase.
Being a self employed plasterer i had a lovely dark green astra van but that was way to sensible for my needs.
So i went the complete opposite and brought a 1999 328i for £1200 in february!

Wasn't long before it had to be lowered!

Then i got offered some wheels and tyres for the pricely sum of £60!

Thats about it really, can't lower it anymore as its my daily driver and i need to fill it up with plaster and tools!
cheers for looking

Noooo, don't tint!
Why do people always want to take nice clean 90s BMs and turn them into pimpmobiles?
For my money BMW got it right - you just can't improve on the 328 Sport look IMHO - I believe there were some 328 Sport Tourings, would love one if I could find one.
I spent several months looking for an unmodified e36 328 a year or so ago and gave up in the end as so many had been lowered/tinted/etc.

window tints will never be on that car!
Its pretty much a poverty spec 328 , grey cloth interior, grey dash, no m sport bumpers... but all that matters to me is the engine is sweet as a nut and its a manual.
just wish it had a lsd!
Very easy to fit one Jon - about £200-£250 off EBay

Will make a big difference to the drive
People will say they're all worn out but that's not been my experience - they'll be exactly the same condition as on most secondhand E36 M3s and they're usually original nick
I've had 2 and they've both worked fine ( had 2 as they were different ratios and wanted a slightly more spritely ratio )

Really? I agree ambers looks "right" on some cars, but I always thought they made e36s look a bit poverty spec - the clears on the Sport and M3 look good and of course are OE.
I absolutely detest the clear corners that some people put on Saab classic 900s, they just look wrong (even on the yellow convertibles where the colours clash, the orange corners look right!). I think it is because they were never offered as an option.

I like the retro orange indicators too.
