Hi Everyone.
2012 has been a busy year so far on the car front. To cut a long story short, I have sold my
TVR Chimaera to a chap who came all the way from Holland to see the car. I had take care of it
for just over six trouble free years. So this......

Got changed for this....

A Porsche Boxster S Anniversary. Only 30,000 miles and a very different car to the TVR.

My next change was to sell my Audi A4 1.8t Cabriolet that I had owned for the last four years. Finished in silver with red leather. So i went from this.....

And after much pressure from SHMBO, Changed it for this...

Mini Cooper S with the 1.6 Turbo charged engine. Had to go all the way to Bournemouth to get it
as it was the ideal colour and the 'lounge leather' made it that bit more attractive.

And the family car is this...

1.9Tdi 130bhp that is simply great on fuel. Its covered nearly 112,000 miles, so just about run in
now. I do plan to change it next year to either a Alfa Romeo 159Ti or BMW 320d Alpina...I will keep you posted.

I hope you like my little collection.

I can see you really look after your cars and go for ones that others have done too. It's nice to see.

How do you rate the Porsche against the TVR?

...The Porsche is much more user-friendly than the TVR. The drive in the Porsche feels more
'balanced' if that is the correct word and inspires great confidence when pressing on.I do
miss the V8 noise though.

Thanks for your comments about the condition od my cars. I do like to keep them all clean
(the better half says it's OCD though) I do like to try different sealants and waxes to
see what gives the better finish. I find that Menzerna Powerlock works well on the silver
cars while Collinite 845 works well on the Mini Cooper S.
