nVX220 Turbo

Sold my Elise about 3 months ago and bought this VX. I wanted the Elise chassis without the reliability issues and I think the VX offers that.

Its had a remap at Courtneys, airbox modified and a full exhaust system







Elise was a better drivers car but then it was heavily modified, the VX is softer in every aspect but I can sort most of it out with some choice mods

I am surprised how much it has grown on me since getting it with a few tweaks it should be perfect

Had a go in one of these a while ago when a fiend had one, that exhaust, Thorney remap and airbox mod. Stupidly rapid cars.

I can fully understand the want to remove the Vauxhall badge, although I can't help but thing they look wrong with no badge on, almost as if they've been in a prang and not yet fixed.

Ahhh I was close though as I thought I'd seen some videos with your car and the DMS BMW.

Yes my remap went really well on Monday. 431bhp and 485 lb.ft torque. The torque was up to around 530 lb.ft but Rob reigned it back as to not stress out the components haha!

Out of interest what does yours weigh?? Mines 930kg and has 279lb.ft

I use this as an everyday car and cant fault it ! Obviously getting in an out is not the easiest but other than that totally useable everyday

Oh it's not light....about 1495kg I think. I think it's about 293 bhp per tonne.

Your VX sounds like a similar weight to my old Exige 260, but that only had 182lb.ft

My bhp/tonne figure will be less but my car seems to thrive on torque anywhere past 5.5k revs and the engine stops pulling as hard
