Hi all.

I sold my Clio 200 in January to get a new van & being carless has been bothering me so I did the usual & started trawling ebay..... I bought this on Saturday biggrin

A 1986 500SEC with 95000 on the clock for the princely sum of £900. She needs a bit of TLC but overall she's a lovely old smoker

Cheers

Saw one of these the other day for the first time - gorgeous car. Bit more wofting ability than in the clio as well. Top shedding sir!

Excellent choice of motor! A good service and some fettling and it will go on forever.

One thing I have noticed on 126s though is that the bonnet seems to sit proud on the near side. Mine does exactly the same, I've readjusted the pin on that side and it was fine for a bit, now it's gone back to how it was.

Really annoying and I have no idea why!

Amazing, but your first purchase should be a sheepskin coat to match.
