Long story short, wife runs the main car in hose, I run barges mastly estates, station runs, trips to the tip, DIY stores etc, oh and the cobra. Few weeks back next door neighbour reversed at speed straight into the back of my old faithful Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.2 SE, lovely car but the insurers have decided that £1700 to repair is too much and have made it a total loss write off, so it was time to start hunting around for a replacement. I might have done it myself but she hit it so hard she bent the towbar !!
Luck was on my side and I found someone looking to off load, a 328i E36 tourer for a very good price.
Result is I now have on the drive a very clean T reg Silver example with 108000 miles on the clock and a brand new MOT with no advisories.
Gave the outside a clean over the weekend, just got the interior to do but as I have just bagged a leather one on fleabay I am going to wait a couple of weeks before tackling that part, as most is coming out anyway.
Its got all the factory fitted extras, and I have to say its good fun to drive.
Few little bits need sorting but nothing major, rear bumber has a scuff but thats getting repainted and laquered Thurs, I know a man that can, so only cost is paint...
I will post up some pics as soon as I get some done.
