I thought I would make a thread about my stablemate for the M5, an Abarth Punto Evo EsseEsse. It was purchased as a replacement for my Abarth 500 as I want something a little bigger but just as fun. Apparently the EsseEsse versions of the Evo are extremely rare, something like less than 20 in the UK.
Anyway here are a few pics I took after she was washed and waxed.

That is really nice! Some very nice details on the front end. The wheels are also fantastic.

What an amazing motor. I really rate these quite highly and even better as it is rarer with the addition of the EsseEsse pack. I really like the red as if you see a n Abarth the majority of the time it is white. Enjoy! thumbup

Thats actually a very nice looking motor - the Evo facelift doesnt look as gopping on the Abarth as it does on the standard models.

I could never bring myself to buy one of these over the 500 though - hence me having one for a year back in 2009 smile
I loved my A500 but being a powerfully built company director (also known as fat !) means it was not as comfortable for me on longer journeys. This is so much nicer for me but in reality they are very different cars so cannot really be compared.

The standard Grande Punto Evos have the cheapest and nastiest interiors of any new cars I've come accross, does the Abarth version redress this or can you still see the cracks so to speak?

10/10. Probably a better package than the 500, but I went for the 500 as I didn't need car as big as the Punto. Looks fantastic

Absolutely love this colour on the Abarths. Wish more people chose it, but alas most go with white these days.

OP, any chance of some interior pictures? Has yours got the leather seats?

Here you go - half leather seats. Never been in an Abarth Grande Punto but this has one of the best interiors I have seen.

I like that a lot. Looks so much better than the normal Abarth and it's mainly down to the awesome wheels.

That is so cool! I'd definitely be in one of these if not for my company car scheme. Lovely car.

That is a lovely car. Those wheels finish it off nicely.

Seen those wheels on a red 500 abarth outside a ferrari dealership and made the car look 10x nicer than any of the other wheels imo. Takes the tacky edge of it and adds a bit of "i mean business"

I really like to look of that. I really do. Ive never driven one but I liked the standard 1.9 Punto. I just really wish they had gone for a larger capacity so they could really take it to the class leaders!
