Good work.
How's the bulkhead?
Haven't had a chance to check properly but as far as I can tell it's OK, there's no horrific movement in the pedals when turning lock-to-lock (which I understand is the telltale sign), and scuttle shake isn't any worse than I'd imagine is usual for a car this age. How's the bulkhead?

Turbo. LPT though, so 154bhp.
Same as mine mate when I bought it. If your not on www.uksaabs.co.uk yet it's well worth joining then ask one of the tuning bods to sort you a stage 1 ecu remap for some beer tokens. (Don't go to a pro tuner as you'll pay through the nose for what's now essentially a free tuning program & IMO just as good....T5 Suite) Should take it to a nice (brisk!) 220bhp then so a tad quicker than an Aero, it wont set your hair on fire but feels MILES quicker than standard (best bang per buck mod you'll ever do)
You'll need an APC valve for this and the wirings already under the bonnet, so just needs connecting up, best to get a T7 APC valve off a late 2000-2002 9-3 or 9-5 instead of the T5 apc as the T5 valves can fail, expensive to replace and the T7 ave gives better boost control (difference is night and day) The ECU will need modifying/soldering internally for this but the tuner should be able to sort it. There's probably a guide on UKS with how to do it...less than an hours job.
The T7 ecu mod is easily one of the best mods I did to the last car, boost came in much smoother and even gave me some much needed grip in 2nd with the gt30 fitted! Just comes is a lot smoother and makes it much nicer to drive.
HTH & apologies if you knew the above
