New Motor BMW X5

Just replaced my Mercedes ML270 with a BMW X5 MSport 3.0d. Absolutely love it would recommend it all day long !!!!

I work with a guy that has two of these, one for him and one for his mrs

i assume you can run them for peanuts, because he's always crying poverty but never once mentions getting rid of his X5

Wife has an 08 ML320 but is looking to change it next year. The X5 is currently top of the list. I'm interested in what year ML you previously had and your impressions of the differences between them.

My ML was a AMG styled 270, 2003. BMW is like a Limo compared to it. So many toys still finding little things it does.

Could you possibly be specific? I've been playing with both recently and objectively I can't choose between them. Our choice is more likely to be made on the basis that we'd like to try something different. Can't say it's better though.

Have to say I much prefer the earlier shape though. IMHO Chris Bangle didn't half screw up BMW designs.

Chris Bangle was an a***hole who ruined BMWs for many years. Have a look at the Zagato Coupe then compare to the Z4. An idiot designed one, a genius the other

Maybe a bit harsh. Yes the Zagato is nice, but the 6 series is not bad looking. And the Z4 is a big improvement on the Z3 IMO.
