Looks really nice, I think the rear kit looks better than the ST and the wheels better than the earlier ST wheels too.

I guess twin exhausts are reserved for the performance models. Tips from a Mondeo Titanium X Sport or similar would look good on this.

Or just a factory ST exhaust, but I suspect your car has a spare wheel well and ST/RS's don't as far as I know.

At least the engine makes 16bhp more than the one in my 1.6 Focus Zetec Ebony did! It was a still a great car, despite being very slow. I guess the lower power of my old Focus would be offset by the additional weight of yours.

Looks smart OP, always amazing what a nice body kit can do for an average family car! agree on the exhaust front though, a nice visable one wouldn't look too bad.

Looks nice, best shape focus IMO.

Only thing that annoys me (nothing about you or your car!) is that my 06/07 Fiesta Zetec S also has a 1.6 petrol but ford could only manage to give it 100bhp rather than the 116 that yours has. The fiesta is an ace handling little car but wouldn't say no to an extra few horses..!

Looks alright.

I was never taken with my Focus - ownership lasted all of 3 months. Was a member on FFOC and Focusowners too, just really didn't like the car. Just felt kinda, soul-destroying? Grey plastics, cheap feel (even though it was top-spec).

Definitely a car for people who just want a 'car' and nothing more I feel. I've driven the 136 2.0 TDCi too, that did have a nice wad of torque, but still utterly boring...

I've had mine from new for nearly 2 years, look pretty smart and great mpg. Mid 50's on a run and 40's driven fairly hard around town. 45000 miles on it and very reliable. Great used buy IMO, and feels pretty quick. I know it's not but it drives well.

I've had a Mk2 and Mk2.5... both in Zetec trim - really didn't like the 'S' version with the diffuser. 'All mouth and no trousers' sprang to mind when I saw them.

Not bad cars (although that engine with the auto box is terrible!) - but the new Mk3 is light years ahead, and really well equipped as a relatively lowly Zetec. Mind you, I'm kind of wishing I'd not been so tight and gone for a Mondeo Zetec - thing is, the tax saving in running a Focus pays a big chunk of the Spider running costs.

Just had a look and you can pick them up for £9k now. Mines a company vehicle but I would buy one as the family car if they drop again soon. Has anyone had the 1.6tdci remapped? £30 a year road tax too!

Looks good, I like the clean lines of the car.

I have to admit I'm confused about the current lineup with the focus, are the ST/RS versions now like the performance versions and the S is the normal model with nicer wheels/kit? I'm guessing its like the Audi S line.

Anyway, its a nice car for a 21 year old, well done!

You got it - Zetec S is just a trim level - it's not a 'performance' spec.

Not sure if you get extra toys, but you get the big wheels and bodykit - I do find it amusing you can have it with the 1.6 diesel, though.

I used to have one of these, always found the engine to be very smooth fora 4cyl.

Car comes with the Zetec S bodykit and ST spoiler, Zetec S alloy wheels and I'm told the springs are different than standard?

She'll do for now, until I can afford something a bit brisker.

Nice car buddy! It's worth remembering that there are other things other than cars to spend your income on so don't be too hasty!

I love modifying cars but there's this some sorta soothing effect cars like yours give. Perhaps that's the reason I go for ICE and some interior mods on my Mazda 3, but I wanna maintain how it looked outside when I first bought it! Improvement, yes, but definitely keep its elegant look. Cool car man!
