My new pride and joy 
Sold my Fiesta ST on Monday last week and prepared for a wait on the right Type-R, so was pleasantly surprised when this came up quickly at reasonable money... so hopped a train with fingers crossed she was worth it for the 580 mile round trip.
She's on 42k with full Honda history - 6 stamps in the book, stacks of receipts and all original Honda documentation - even has the original sales brochures.
Feel 17 again, finding myself going for drives for no reason and consistently taking the long way home

Looks really nice fella!! It's good to finally see one in such good knick that hasn't been molestered! I probably looked at over 10 of these after I sold my Alfa GTV V6, all around the 4 grand mark as I was having to "downgrade" due to university costs, and I honestly struggled to find one with even a full set of matching tyres from a good brand let alone other problems. But well done, hope you enjoy it 
These are nice cars, I wanted one when I was searching for a new car a year ago. Unfortuantely my disposable income is somewhat less now I'm renting privately and have a baby on the way...!
When I had my Celica T-Sport I always found it didn't feel 'fast' unless I was absolutely gunning it to get the 'valve lift' powerband. That was a 1.8, I've always wondered if the 2.0 K20 engine has felt better for the 200cc extra (must surely have more torque) but do you feel the same about the powerband or does it pootle along nicely? I got tired of the T-Sport in the end...

It's a nice colour, but not the sort of car I'd want to own, I always thought the Type Rs to be too much hard work, always needing to change gear and drive at the top of the rev range to really get them to go. 
Get a decent exhaust on there and hear that VTEC scream!

I have owned three EP3's:
- 30th Anniversary (Pre Facelift)
- Facelift
- Premier - Facelift
The earlier pre facelift cars suffered from very numb steering feel which was slightly improved in the facelift car which you have but aside from that I don't have a bad word to say about the EP3.
The gearbox is to date the best I have ever had the pleasure to stir in a car sub £50,000, the engine is a marvel and is something you are unlikely ever to see again due to current legislation.

Thanks guys - to say I'm chuffed with it is an understatement.
Contrary to what is generally said about the bottom/mid range of these engines I find it perfectly adequate for briskly getting up to speed, as well as being relatively economical while doing so, I say this after coming from a torquey Fiesta ST. Personally where I find them weakest is between 5-5.8k just before the Vtec comes on song but this just makes the vtec crossover even more welcomed and fantastic

Yes its down 35mm I believe - I wasn't crazy about this fact but I didn't let it put me off a seemingly other wise lovely car - originally planned to source some standard springs BUT the way it sits is growing on me... can manoeuvre multi-storey car parks and speed bumps fine too.And well spotted mate indeed I do lazy me
