Something beautiful to something ugly. Subaru WRX wagon
Discussion
After spending a rather enjoyable 12 months in this:

We bought a VX220, and needed a 'sensible' car.
Enter please my rather cheap, but fully looked after 'Bug eye' WRX wagon.

It has a fsh, most of it Subaru, a recent cambelt and the only modification being a Scorpion backbox.
It has 125k miles, and was a 'farm' car.
The bodywork has various small dents, which will be addressed, then perhaps in the future a mild remap.
Thoughts so far?
Its quick, thirsty, has cheap plastics, nothing rattles and i love the noise.
Wish me luck

apparently 270-280 is achievable with minimal fuss. I'll check insurance before i get to carried away If only someone would insure me(24) i would have one.

Aim for 260 as the td04 on that will Max out at around 270-280 along with the injectors,so better not to push that high on a high miles motor, nice car BTW.
Sounds plenty for me, and yes i won't push the old girl that far. Shes behaving very well so far, even the aircons in full working order!cracking cars.
mine had the PPP pack and had a rolling road printout for 255bhp - it went very well, nothing compared to most scoobies running around but plenty for what I used it for and super practical as well. I was going to get another a couple of months back but the missus hates them because of the bonnet vent (I never used to be under the thumb honest!) so got a spec B legacy...great car but not as many smiles per mile!
enjoy the burble!
