Have I "stanced" my CL??!!

Hello All
I know there is lots of mockery about lowering our cars and the subject of "stancing" never fails to raise a smile!!
However, I think I may have fallen into the said mocked category of owners!!
Car is a V12 biturbo CL600 - I luuuurrve it! The 800nm of torque is something else and although the car is heavy, the 500HP throws it down the road with alarming speed.
A few things I have wanted to improve since I have owned the car (3 months now):
Wheels :
I was looking at some more modern polished AMG wheels in 20 inch diameter as per the new CL/S class Mercedes. The problem is the offsets on CLs are pretty uncommon (44 ET) and it means the wheel are not that interchangeable with other models. In the end I decided to keep things OEM and went for a full refurbishment of my current 19 inch AMGs and bought new centre caps to finish it off
Ride height:
I have not been a fan of the current ride hide. For those of you unfamiliar with the CL, it has a very complicated (and troublesome!) air suspension set up. I have been using the car in sport setting but the height was just too 4x4 for me! Fortunately there is a solution in the form of lowering links. These trick the computer into thinking the car is riding higher than it is and subsequently lowers it accordingly. The links are British made and have been used by many owners of Porchase Cayennes, Mercedes, Audi, Bentley etc with no adverse problems. They are also fully adjustable.
I have opted for a "sensible" ride height - there is no rubbing or bottoming out and the car looks great!
Exhaust :
The CL600 is quite reserved compared to the equally powerful CL55 (supercharged. So reserved in fact that the exhaust is so muted that it is whisper quiet. Had to get this rectified and decided on a similar solution to my past E39 M5 ie. rear muffler delete. The car is going in for the muffler work on Monday and will hopefully release some of the V12 burble! I am hoping for something like this:

In short stance means there is little or no gap between arch and tyre thus I'm going to say no you haven't stanced it, you would need to space your wheels out and do aft things like stretch tyres to do that and ultimately make your awesome car pap to drive.......
I love how it looks aftr though....can I ask how it feels to drive before and after? What components did you use? I'm hoping no low budget tat has been used to achieve these lows? Also I hope your have had a full alignment done after this drop??
