Here are some of my cars from last year to this year.

You will notice a trend - M3s...LOVE them.

Had 2 manuals then decided to go for a Dakar Yellow with the SMG box and its awesome. The changes are extremly quick with no lag at all so it makes a fun drive.

Anyways here you go,

My Impreza - The car I have kept the longest - 1 and 1/2 years.
Loved this bought it bog standard and spent far to much on it.
Got it up to a respectable 389.9bhp

August 2011 to February 2012
My first E46 M3
Bought with the wheels and exhaust but apart from that a nice car.
I got bored of blue after a few weeks and did a full colour change, interior out the lot. To 2012 BMW Alpine White.
Did it with my mate and the car was perfect but did it over a 2 week period and when i got it back on the road i was sick of the sight of the car so sold it.

To

Owned from New Years Eve until March 15th
Evo 8 MRFQ340
This had a huge spec was running a unsafe 412bhp when i got it, did a few tweeks and pulled it back to 388 i think it was.
Was a quick car but not meant for everyday use...The short rack was a pain in the arse on the way to work.

Owned from March 2012 to July 2012
M3 I had in March for a few months - Bought it standard and did a few wee bits to it including a full stainless system.

Owned July 2012 to October
Impreza STI Prodrive
I have owned 5 Imprezas previous to this Classic STI,Bugeye STI and Blob but I hated this. It was nice the day I got it but did nothing for me. I deresonated it and did a few tweeks but still didn't enjoy it.

Owned from October 2012 to now
My current - M3 Individual in Dakar yellow.
Decent spec on it - Coilovers and a few engine mods, fancy clutch and a SMG box which is awesome

Thanks mate.

I wanted a Dakar Yellow M3 for a while but could not find one.

This seems to have all the boxes ticked.

Its got coilovers on it but seems to be comfy and sitting nice so far.

An intersting collection of cars there, and clearly the M3 ticks a lot of your boxes. How do you find the SMG II over manual? It's supposed to be hard work in slow moving city traffic..

Cheers.

Yep the M3 was my first "luxury" style car and its ticks all the boxes.

The Dakar SMG has all the toys, heated seats, HK sound system ect ect

I have NO issues with it at all, its seamless so far. Its got a stage 1 clutch in it aswell but you would never tell.

It has 6 settings so you can have the gear change on soft or hard if that makes sense.

I am really enjoying it so far and no gripes yet.

I absolutely love Dakar Yellow E36 and E46s, yours looks brilliant. It's a real shame that more customers did not order the car in this colour, I'd say the same about Laguna Seca blue too, another excellent but rarely seen colour.

Thanks buddy.

There is a local E36 M3 in dakar but its been thrashed and has rotten arches.

If it comes for sale or i see the owner I may make him an offer and have a go at restoring a car to its former glory....

Pretty sure that Sti Prodrive went tearing past me one day coming off the Kessock roundabout, I was just bimbling along on the bike smile
Great collection, pretty sure I have seen all of them knocking about at some point.

R1GTR - Yea the new owner drives it like a physco and has currently been banned for evading the police in it 3 times......

I think for speed, power and fun it would be the Impreza (Blue) I loved that car but kinda grew out of it.

All in all it would be the current M3 is my favourite. Love how it drives and handles.

Thanks mate.

I have not added in the Fiesta ST van I had for a few months for the misses to use.
Audi S4 Estate with 19" RS6 wheels
Seat Ibiza TDi sport I have just now.

I don't know what it is, the idea of owning the car is brilliant I buy it then I realise I wish I had bought something else.

I get that feeling too! Finances are a bit tight for me at the moment so looks like I'll be sticking with current ride for a while - this hasn't stop me trawling the classifieds everyday though lol!

Nice selection of performance cars!

Do you find that you lose money on them every time you change cars?

I have been lucky to make money on them all minus the Impreza.

The M3 I had resprayed in white and I made the most on that, but as the saying go's a car is only worth what someone will pay. A few people have said I over price them when I sell them but every car on this page has sold with 5 days of been put for sale so I say not bad going tbh.

I did loose money on the Impreza I put alot of money into that as it was all branded parts I went for. Had it mapped 5 times to cope with what I was doing to it and I was very fussy.

Yep thats where I live buddy in Inverness.

My cars current locations

Impreza - Inverness
Evo - Elgin
White M3 - Skye
Black M3 - Wick
Impreza Hatch - Newcastle

Yea I am thinking that.

Going to underseal it this weekend I think.

Was planning putting a stainless system on it like I had on my old one but not sure yet.

Supercharger seems to be at the top of my list but we will see.
