Hello everyone, signed up a while back and just getting round to posting now. This is one of the cars that I currently own and I thought I would share it with you all. For now I will just copy a brief timeline from a local forum and will keep you updated as it progresses/breaks. I had bought the car a year ago next week in England for the costly sum of £250 (including getting it home to outside Belfast)It was advertised as having an intermittent cut out fault which ended up being a cam sensor. So here's some pictures albeit some are lost (which is crap as it included pictures of the first Navigation event I won)

Went drifting. There was pictures from before this but they've disappeared

I then fitted an OMP steering wheel and hydraulic handbrake. Car had gotten into bad shape at this stage.

So done my first event in a long time. fantastoc days craic. Failed 2 tests out of the 23. Monumental cock up on the first test but marked that one down to experience. Once we had the first loop over us the nerves were settled and we had an absolute ball. Car never straightened all day and seen plenty of revving. Came into the service/lunch stop and checked oil etc and the cam angle sensor was way off the mark. Left it with a local fella who apparently knows his jap stuff and they never tightened the cam sensor. Just by chance I had a small box of spares and had a bolt that fitted ok. Set it back as best as I could but was having issues getting it to idle. Managed to keep it going and got the day finished up.

Have another event on the 10th December so have plenty to do for then. Need to set ignition timing once again and I noticed the chassis rails are burst open and clips for the brake lines are broke. So will have all that to address and straighten the exhaust brackets as they are bent silly also.
